• What is a sworn translation?
A sworn translation is (sworn, official, certified) performed by a sworn translator (judicial expert).
This type of translation is often required by foreign authorities but also by schools, universities, consulates, businesses...
• Is a sworn translation valid in all countries?
A sworn translation is accepted in all countries.
However, depending on the official languages and administrative procedures
certain additional steps may be required.
• How much does a sworn translation cost?
As a guide, a sworn translation (French/English or English/French) of one page, per 220 words,
is 54.80 euros (VAT and postal costs included).
• How much time will you need?
The time needed to complete a translation is given in "working days", from the date of receipt of your
completed order (documents + payment). We will provide you with the processing time as part of our estimate.
For information, the average time required for the translation of five documents is
two/three working days (not including the postal delivery time and dependent on the volume of
words to translate).
• I do not have certified copies of the
originals (documents), should I send you the originals or just
ordinary copies of my documents?
It normally depends on the requirements of the organisation which
will be receiving the translation; we advise you to obtain a clear indication
of their requirements before having your documents translated.
